This absolutely fun and adventurous couple couldn't confine their nuptials to a church. They needed something that was a true reflection of themselves. They needed something exciting that would make this day far more memorable than they could imagine. Having their ceremony on a beautiful secluded island seemed like the natural choice to exchange their vows. Their special day was planned out by The Exuma Destination Wedding Expert herself, Kwanza Clay Bowe.

With transportation provided by Captain Ray Lightbourne from Exuma Water Sports the couple was whisked away to Boisie Cay (pronounced key) in the chain of Exuma Cays. On their way to Boisie Cay, the couple had a chance to see the rare phenomenon that can only be seen in Exuma. Yep, they had a chance to see the world famous swimming pigs, that reside on Major's Spot Cay.

After their beautiful ceremony, the couple took a leisurely tour through the cays with a stop at the Thunderball Grotto, which is the famous location that two James Bond movies (Thunderball and Never Say Never Again) were filmed. They continued on through the cays with a stop for a meal and celebration at Ocean Cabin Restaurant & Bar on Farmer's Cay. After lots of swimming, and taking in the sites throughout their trip. Deatra & Mark ended their day with a glorious sunset.

I really enjoyed hanging out with Deatra & Mark on their wedding day. I feel so privileged that they chose me as their photographer. I'm happy to wish them Blessings, Joy, and Love in their marriage for years to come. I hope that the images that were captured on this day, continues to put a smile on their faces and love in their heart every time they look back on this day.
